El objetivo fundamental de la Revista es la divulgación, contribución del conocimiento y debate académico en torno a la realidad, de investigaciones científicas con enfoques teóricos y metodológicos, ofreciendo soluciones a problemas socialmente relevantes, así como servir de estímulo para la investigación y el desarrollo futuro del conocimiento. Igualmente, pretende servir como fuente de consulta para un análisis social, así como para el enriquecimiento en la formación de especialistas en las distintas disciplinas de las ciencias sociales y, por tanto, está abierta a las colaboraciones de todos aquellos autores que trabajan en este campo específico.
