La Revista de Nutrición Clínica y Metabolismo (RNCM) es la publicación oficial de la Asociación Colombiana de Nutrición Clínica, cuyo primer número fue publicado en mayo 2018. Al ser parte de la Asociación Colombiana de Nutrición Clínica, con miembros de diversas disciplinas, ya sea centrados en la ciencia básica o clínica, la revista refleja su naturaleza científica multidisciplinar y promulga la investigación colaborativa. Su objetivo es difundir la producción científica de grupos e investigadores locales, nacionales e internacionales relacionada con la nutrición clínica y el metabolismo humano, tanto en ciencia básica como aplicada; así como, promover su aplicación. Para ello, invita a estudiantes y profesionales de carreras afines de salud y nutrición para considerar la publicación de su trabajo en la revista. Las áreas temáticas definidas para la publicación en la revista son: -Nutrición clínica y metabolismo: procesos bioquímicos y patológicos (alteraciones y trastornos metabólicos) -Relación entre nutrición y enfermedad: enfermedades infecciosas-agudas y crónicas, físicas y mentales. -Etapas del cuidado nutricional: tamizaje y evaluación del estado nutricional del paciente. -Intervenciones nutricionales y dietéticas: nutrición enteral, parenteral, suplementación, complementación, educación alimentaria y nutricional, diseño e implementación de nuevas técnicas y su aplicación en el campo de la nutrición. -Ciencias ómicas en nutrición: epigenética, genómica, proteómicas, transcriptómica y metabolómicas. La revista publica en inglés, español y portugués: -Artículos originales -Casos clínicos -Revisiones de alcance, sistemáticas y metaanálisis -Controversias -Protocolos, guías, declaraciones de consenso, comunicaciones cortas -Cartas al Editor Es una revista de acceso abierto y revisada por pares; y cuenta con una periodicidad trimestral en versión electrónica. La publicación de los números de la revista corresponde a los siguientes periodos: enero-marzo, abril-junio, julio-septiembre, octubre-diciembre.
