Scope
Aims, scope and focus
Revista de la Facultad de Agronomía es una revista electrónica arbitrada, con frecuencia de publicación continua, que edita la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias y Forestales de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Fundada en 1895, su objetivo es difundir artículos ORIGINALES e INÉDITOS, en español, portugués e inglés, resultado de la investigación en cualquier disciplina de las ciencias agrarias y forestales, tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional. Se aceptarán trabajos que brinden información de interés local y regional, siempre y cuando contengan debida justificación, diseño experimental adecuado y amplia discusión. Dado que los/as lectores/as de la revista pertenecen a variadas disciplinas, los trabajos deben ser comprensibles por un amplio público que trabaje en el ámbito de la agronomía y la forestación. Las disciplinas en las que se publican contribuciones son: Agroecología, Agroindustrias, Desarrollo rural, Ecofisiología de cultivos, Ecología de cultivos y malezas, Ecología, Producción e Industrias forestales, Edafología y Manejo de Suelos, Genética vegetal, Mecanización Agraria, Microbiología, Poscosecha, Producción animal, forrajicultura y praticultura, Sanidad y terapéutica vegetal: nutrición, plagas y enfermedades. Dirigida a investigadores/as, docentes, profesionales y estudiantes de posgrado, la revista publica los siguientes tipos de artículos: Trabajos: son aquellos que contengan resultados de la investigación científica y que signifiquen un aporte original al conocimiento general o regional. Este tipo de artículos buscan discutir una hipótesis o realizar, desde un punto de vista teórico, un aporte novedoso del tema. Comunicaciones: artículos que contengan resultados de investigaciones en curso o que desarrollen una nueva técnica o metodología. Revisiones: artículos que resuman el estado actual del conocimiento sobre un tema. Ayudas didácticas: serán contribuciones en temas actuales relacionados a las ciencias agrarias y forestales, destinadas a ser utilizadas en las clases de grado o posgrado. Los temas tratados deberán ser superadores de la información presente en los libros de texto de cada disciplina y contener información actualizada.
