La Revista de la ALAD, Asociación Latinoamericana de Diabetes es el órgano oficial de difusión de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Diabetes (ALAD). La revista busca fomentar la generación y diseminación de conocimiento acerca de la diabetes y sus complicaciones en América Latina. La revista publica investigaciones originales en las siguientes áreas: Aspectos básicos y fisiopatológicos de la diabetes y el metabolismo. Cuidado clínico de los pacientes con diabetes, sus patologías asociadas y sus complicaciones. Epidemiología de la diabetes, sus factores de riesgo y sus complicaciones. Además de artículos originales y casos clínicos, la revista publica revisiones de tema, editoriales, bibliografía comentada y cartas al editor. Los artículos publicados por la revista son de interés y utilidad para clínicos, investigadores, salubristas públicos, psicólogos, educadores, epidemiólogos y tomadores de decisiones en temas de la salud relativos a la diabetes. La Revista de la ALAD es una publicación trimestral, open access, que tras una revisión por pares doble ciego, considera para su publicación trabajos científicos en español e inglés relacionados con todas las áreas de la diabetes.
