La Revista de Economía del Rosario es una publicación académica cuyos artículos son sometidos a evaluación de pares en el modelo doble ciego, y es una publicación semestral con énfasis en artículos inéditos derivados de investigaciones, de alta calidad teórica, empírica, aplicada, o estudios de implicaciones de política económica en cualquier área de economía. Los artículos cortos, revisiones de literatura, notas y comentarios también son bienvenidos. Una vez un artículo ha sido enviado para posible publicación en la revista, se entiende que no está siendo considerado por otra revista. Igualmente, el autor asume todas las connotaciones legales relacionadas con la originalidad de su trabajo y el ajuste a las regulaciones relacionadas con los derechos de autor y el plagio. Igualmente, desde 2014, cada artículo de la revista y número de esta cuentan con un DOI, como identificador digital. La referencia institucional en el nombre de la revista simplemente significa que es una iniciativa de la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad del Rosario. Por consiguiente, la revista está abierta a todos los miembros de la comunidad académica tanto en Colombia como en el exterior.
