La revista Ciencia y Tecnología Agropecuaria (C&TA) avanza en la ruta de la Ciencia Abierta y tiene como propósito difundir y divulgar en acceso abierto el conocimiento multidisciplinar e interdisciplinario de las ciencias agropecuarias mediante la publicación en frecuencia continua trimestral de artículos de investigación, revisión, reflexión (ensayo científico), artículos cortos, reporte de caso y reseñas bibliográficas postulados en español o inglés por investigadores de la comunidad científica internacional conformada por investigadores de instituciones académicas, investigadores del sector productivo, estudiantes de posgrado, y profesionales de las ciencias biológicas y agropecuarias. Las contribuciones que se postulen a la revista deben ser de carácter original e inédito y no deben presentarse simultáneamente a otra revista u órgano editorial en ningún idioma. Tiene como alcance el siguiente espectro temático: Alimentación y nutrición animal, ciencias forestales, economía y desarrollo rural, fisiología animal y vegetal, genética y biodiversidad, manejo de sistemas productivos, recursos biofísicos, sanidad vegetal y protección de cultivos, agricultura de precisión, poscosecha y agroindustria, y cambio climático y sostenibilidad ambiental.
