A Conjuntura Austral: Journal of the Global South é uma publicação trimestral, criada em 2010, em Porto Alegre, Brasil, pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Estratégicos Internacionais (PPGEEI) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), uma instituição sem fins lucrativos, pública e voltada ao ensino e à pesquisa. A revista publica, trimestralmente, trabalhos de Relações Internacionais com foco nos países que integram o Hemisfério Sul, tendo como área geográfica de abrangência a África, a Ásia e a América Latina, na perspectiva dos grandes temas das relações internacionais, especialmente as agendas de segurança, diplomacia e desenvolvimento. As contribuições publicadas pela revista são na forma de Análises de Conjuntura, Artigos de Pesquisa e Resenhas Bibliográficas, podendo ser escritas em português, inglês ou espanhol. Tem como público alvo pesquisadores, especialistas e pós-graduandos e graduandos da área de Relações Internacionais. A Conjuntura Austral não cobra taxas de publicação dos autores, e disponibiliza todo o conteúdo de suas publicações em formato digital e de forma gratuita. A revista aceita a submissão de trabalhos depositados (de maneira prévia ou simultânea à submissão) em servidores de preprint. As contribuições publicadas pela revista são submetidas à avaliação científica, utilizando o sistema de revisão por pares, que será na modalidade duplo-cego para manuscritos inéditos.
