La Revista Colombiana de Cirugía es el órgano oficial de difusión de la Asociación Colombiana de Cirugía (anteriormente Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía). Inició su circulación en mayo de 1986 con el título de Cirugía, convirtiendo en realidad uno de los objetivos estatutarios de la Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía: “Editar una publicación periódica, de carácter científico, destinada a divulgar las experiencias e investigaciones, especialmente en el área quirúrgica, dando prioridad a aquellas que hayan sido realizadas por la Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía”.
