La Revista Ciencias de la Actividad Física UCM (REVISTACAF.UCM), fue creada en el año 1998, con una publicación al año en formato impreso, a partir del año 2013 se convierte en una publicación continua de corte semestral y en línea, dejando de publicarse en formato impreso. La REVISTACAF.UCM, pertenece al Departamento de Ciencias de la Actividad Física de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Católica del Maule, cuyo objetivo es “aportar al conocimiento que se genera producto de la investigación científica. Prioriza los artículos originales de modo de que sean utilizados como referencias en las aulas universitarias y laboratorios especializados para el desarrollo de las ciencias de la Actividad Física del país y el mundo”. Revista Ciencias de la Actividad Física UCM considera para su publicación artículos inéditos resultados de investigación, dirigidos y orientados a enriquecer el conocimiento científico en el campo de la ciencia de la actividad física.
