A Revista Brasileira de Gestão e Desenvolvimento Regional (G&DR), em versão exclusivamente eletrônica, é uma publicação quadrimestral do programa de Pós-Graduação stricto e lato sensu em Planejamento e Desenvolvimento Regional da Universidade de Taubaté (SP). Foi criada com três objetivos básicos: dar vazão a vasta produção científica que se avoluma, na área, nas universidades brasileiras e que, por falta de espaço e de um veículo específico, não circula e, portanto, não é discutida, criticada e referenciada; estimular o debate acadêmico sobre a questão regional em suas diferentes dimensões, valorizando, sobretudo, os diálogos interdisciplinares; e contribuir, de forma decisiva, para a crítica e proposição de modelos de intervenção, pública ou privada, de natureza sustentável. A Revista Brasileira de Gestão e Desenvolvimento Regional (G&DR) é uma revista de orientação pluralista e publica trabalhos que apresentem contribuições originais, teóricas ou empíricas, relacionadas ao Desenvolvimento Regional. Estando vinculada a um programa de pós-graduação multidisciplinar, valoriza o diálogo interdisciplinar, abrindo espaços para contribuições de outras áreas (saúde, engenharias, arquitetura, psicologia, história, ciências ambientais) que apresentem interface com o projeto central da revista. Encontra-se disponível para colaboradores nacionais e estrangeiros e possui um conselho editorial variado, distribuído por várias instituições e regiões do País, além de consultores internacionais.
