Foco e Escopo 1. Missão A REVISTA responde a um dos resultados do projeto Crítica Epistemológica – PROCAD: buscar organicidade no debate sobre questões relacionados aos objetos, métodos e metodologias no campo da comunicação no Brasil e no mundo. Transfere, para o projeto de Revista, os formatos de interações desenvolvidos no projeto Procad. A marca desse formato é a busca de uma metodologia de interlocução a partir de uma diversidade de angulações. A partir dessa experiência, a proposta se dirige ao conjunto dos pesquisadores de ciências sociais, especialmente na área da comunicação, que estejam em diálogo com perspectivas e tensionamentos no Brasil e no plano internacional, acompanhando, de maneira sensível, os debates em curso na Norte, Sul, Leste e Oeste, em torno do pensamento comunicacional (em particular, os identificados em sociedades científicas correlatas – COMPÓS, ALAIC, IAMCR, SFSIC, etc.). Nesse sentido, a proposta é uma revista centrada no debate em processo ou estimulado, entre diversas angulações epistemológicas no campo da comunicação. Suas chamadas não serão temáticas ou conforme determinadas escolas, mas de debate, explícito, entre enfoques epistemológicos diferenciados no campo da comunicação no Brasil e no mundo. Assim, será estimulado o debate entre correntes fundadas no pensamento em ciências sociais, teorias do signo, teoria literária, técnica e tecnologia, considerando as ações, interações, práticas e filosofia, em comunicação e processos midiáticos, levando em conta especialmente os seguintes eixos. a) Questões, problemas e conceitos do campo da comunicação;b) Objetos e métodos de investigação;c) Crítica epistemológica; 2. Atribuições dos Editores com apoio consultivo do Comitê Editorial Fixar as diretrizes editoriais do periódico pelo qual é responsável, em conjunto com o Comitê Editorial, quando houver; Providenciar, em conjunto com a Editoria de Periódicos, a indexação do periódico no maior número possível de bases de dados da área do conhecimento, nacionais e internacionais; Rrevisar ou atualizar diretrizes que orientam a seleção de integrantes da Comissão Científica do respectivo periódico; Indicar os integrantes da Comissão Científica; Estabelecer critérios e procedimentos para a aprovação de artigos; Acolher, analisar e submeter artigos à avaliação de integrantes da Comissão Científica, estipulando prazos para retorno de pareceres solicitados e acompanhando a observância dos mesmos; Preservar registros, pareceres e document
