Quaderns IEE és una revista d’accés obert i gratuït, promoguda per l’Institut d’Estudis Europeus de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, amb el suport del Centre de Documentació Europea de la mateixa universitat. El seu objectiu és donar a conèixer els estudis que es realitzen sobre la Unió Europea. Si bé els temes principals són els que s’enquadren tradicionalment en les ciències socials: dret, economia i ciència política, en la pràctica, i donat l’alt nivell d’integració que ha assolit aquesta organització supranacional, la llista de temes d’estudi és molt extensa: salut, medi ambient, educació, cultura, agricultura, ciència, periodisme, etc. És, en resum, una revista que publica articles sobre la Unió Europea des d’una perspectiva multidisciplinària. Així mateix, es proposa ser una plataforma de suport i promoció de joves investigadors al començament de la seva carrera acadèmica i d’acadèmics emergents. Cada número es divideix en 5 seccions: Editorial, Estudis, Notes, Ressenyes i Agenda.
