Aims, scope and focus

QRB Discovery is published by Cambridge University Press. By OpenAlex counts of its recent articles, its largest topics are Protein Structure and Dynamics, Enzyme Structure and Function and Computational Drug Discovery Methods, together about 38.2% of its articles. Its main subfields are Molecular Biology. (generated from OpenAlex topic counts and CAS ranking data)

QRB Discovery ISSN: 2633-2892 (Online) Frequency: 1 volume per year QRB Discovery publishes new developments in the field of experimental and computational biophysics. Articles report on significant physical observations of relevance to biological systems, both experimental and theoretical, that may point towards an exciting direction, rather than the presentation of a traditional comprehensive study. Experimental biophysics spans a multitude of physics-based measurements such as optical microscopy, super-resolution imaging, electron microscopy, X-ray and neutron diffraction, spectroscopy, calorimetry, thermodynamics and their integrated uses, with computational biophysics, simulations, bioinformatics and system analysis. Biological phenomena that cannot be described and analysed from a molecular angle, using biophysical techniques, are not in scope.
