A Revista Pubvet (e-ISSN 1982-1263) tem como filosofia editorial a publicação científica revisada por pares, em acesso aberto, sob diversos formatos. Entre estes, são publicados mensalmente textos completos para artigos, revisões de literatura, notas técnicas, relatos de casos e editorias nas grandes áreas de Medicina veterinária e Zootecnia. Os temas aceitos enquadram o agronegócio, ecoturismo, produção animal (convencional e sustentável), tecnologia de alimentos e seus derivados, medicina veterinária, sanidade animal, saúde humana, entre outros relevantes para o atual debate científico, visando à aproximação entre a pesquisa científica e os profissionais do campo. Os trabalhos enviados à publicação na PUBVET devem respeitar o meio-ambiente e a ética na produção e intervenção medicinal na manipulação dos animais. Ainda, a filosofia editorial da revista respeita as diferentes etnias, crenças, credos, sem discriminação das atividades dos interessados em publicar na revista.
