Основная цель журнала – донести новейшие результаты в области ботаники, эволюции, систематики, агробиологии, генетики, физиологии, биохимии, иммунитета, молекулярной биологии, биотехнологии до наибольшего числа ученых, включая специалистов из смежных областей науки и техники, а также до преподавателей ВУЗов, читающих лекций по соответствующим направлениям.
