Збірник “Праці Інституту електродинаміки Національної академії наук України” є науковим фаховим виданням відкритого доступу у галузі технічних наук. У збірнику містяться статті з результатами досліджень за такими науковими напрямами: електродинаміка електроенергетичних пристроїв; • перетворення та стабілізація параметрів електромагнітної енергії; • підвищення ефективності та надійності процесів електромеханічного перетворення енергії; • аналіз, оптимізація та автоматизація режимів електроенергетичних систем та їх елементів; • інформаційно-вимірювальні системи та метрологічне забезпечення в електроенергетиці; • комплексні енергетичні системи з відновлюваними джерелами енергії. Метою збірника “Праці Інституту електродинаміки Національної академії наук України” є поширення нових наукових знань, представлення форуму для обговорення та апробації методів моделювання, розрахунку, експериментальної перевірки та розроблення нових електротехнічних пристроїв і систем з поліпшеними техніко-економічними показниками та сприяння їхньому впровадженню. Саме тому в статтях, що публікуються в журналі, акцент робиться і на наукову новизну, і на практичну цінність. Збірник “Праці Інституту електродинаміки Національної академії наук України” висвітлює результати досліджень науковців з широкого кола проблем, він має як теоретичне узагальнююче, так і прикладне спрямування, включаючи інформацію про найбільш цікаві практичні розробки та їхнє впровадження у практику.
