Tiene como propósitos promover la investigación y divulgar conocimiento vinculado a la Ciencia Política, adecuado a la realidad latinoamericana y útil para la toma de decisiones públicas. Cada número aborda una temática particular, como política subnacional, partidos políticos, industrias extractivas, comportamiento electoral, cooperación regional en América Latina, entre otros.
