اهداف و چشماندازهای فصلنامه فصلنامه علمی «پژوهشهای ارتباطی» صاحب امتیازی سازمان صداوسیما و زیر نظر مرکز تحقیقات این سازمان از دو دهه قبل با هدف انعکاس فعالیتهای پژوهشی سازمان صداوسیما شروع به انتشار نمود، اما در حال حاضر این فصلنامه این فرصت را برای پژوهشگران، کارشناسان و اندیشمندان حوزه رسانهها، بهویژه رادیو و تلویزیون و رسانههای نوین فراهم آورده است تا به یک مجموعه تخصصی و علمی – پژوهشی در حوزه ارتباطات و رسانه جهت بازتاب فعالیتهای علمی خود و نیز بهرهوری و تعامل با همدیگر دسترسی داشته باشند. اهداف *بسترسازی و توسعه گفتمانهای علمی حوزه ارتباطات و رسانه *نشر نتایج پژوهشهای نظاممند ومسألهمحور در حوزه رسانه *نشر نظریهها و دستاورهای علمی – پژوهشی در حوزه ارتباطات و رسانهای *تلاش در جهت رفع نیازهای علمی و تخصصی کشور در زمینه ارتباطات و رسانه *فراهم نمودن زمینه تعامل علمی و عملی در حوزه رسانه
