La revista Pixel-Bit. Revista de Medios y Educación, editada por la Editorial de Universidad de Sevilla, es una publicación perteneciente al Grupo de Investigación Didáctica (HUM-390 del PAI) de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Sevilla (España). De amplia difusión en el ámbito iberoamericano, es una publicación interdisciplinar de investigación de carácter científico-académico, que pretende fomentar el intercambio de ideas y trabajos en el campo de los medios audiovisuales, informática y tecnologías de la información y comunicación aplicadas al terreno educativo. Presenta una línea editorial enfocada en la publicación de trabajos de investigación en educación y medios de comunicación, ofrececiendo un nuevo instrumento de análisis, reflexión y construcción de propuestas en torno a la educación y las TIC, que contribuyan a mejorar las condiciones formativas, en el marco del desarrollo integral de la comunidad universitaria. Está dirigida a expertos, investigadores, miembros de la comunidad educativa, responsables de las áreas tecnológicas de centros educativos y/o de planificación institucional, estudiantes de postgrado y a quienes deseen especializarse en el área de las nuevas tecnologías y sus aplicaciones educativas. En aras de fomentar la investigación en el campo educativo y de las comunicaciones, Pixel-Bit. Revista de Medios y Educación se configura como un referente en el campo de la educación, impulsando la investigación en el ámbito de las TIC y promoviendo el intercambio de conocimiento sobre investigaciones derivadas de las mismas.
