Рецензоване наукове періодичне видання «Питання культурології» є фаховим журналом у галузі культурології, що видається з 2003 року та висвітлює актуальні питання теорії та історії української та світової культури, а також сучасні культурні процеси. Видання адресоване дослідникам, науково-педагогічним працівникам і здобувачам вищої освіти у сфері культури і мистецтва. Метою журналу є представлення результатів наукових досліджень і сприяння розвитку культурології як наукової галузі, зокрема через аналіз культурних явищ у теоретичному, історичному вимірах, а також культурно-мистецьких і освітніх практик. Тематика журналу охоплює публікацію наукових, оглядових і проблемно-аналітичних статей з питань теорії та історії української і світової культури, музеєзнавства і пам’яткознавства, дослідження та збереження культурної спадщини, філософії культури, лінгвокультурології, культури повсякденності, масової культури, міжкультурних взаємодій і соціокультурної діяльності. До кола наукових інтересів видання належать також сучасні культурні процеси, трансформації культурного простору, культурно-мистецькі практики та актуальні тенденції розвитку гуманітарного знання. Журнал забезпечує фахову комунікацію результатів досліджень, підтримує міждисциплінарні підходи та сприяє розвитку наукового дискурсу у сфері культурології.
