Pharmaceutical Statistics is an industry-led initiative, tackling real problems in statistical applications. The Journal publishes papers that share experiences in the practical application of statistics within the pharmaceutical industry. It covers all aspects of pharmaceutical statistical applications from discovery, through pre-clinical development, clinical development, post-marketing surveillance, consumer health, production, epidemiology, and health economics. The Journal is both international and multidisciplinary. It includes high quality practical papers, case studies and review papers. The journal accepts high quality papers in the following formats: • Main Paper (Original Article) should be novel and share experiences in the practical application of statistics within the pharmaceutical industry. There is no formal limit on the word count. However, a lengthy manuscript might suggest that clarity of the presentation can be improved. If the word count exceeds 4,000 it is suggested to consider shortening or omitting selected sections. • Short Communications are short contributions that present original and significant material for rapid dissemination. Short Communications should not exceed 1,500 words. • Viewpoint: Viewpoint articles are short pieces that express the opinions of the authors. The ideal length of a viewpoint is 1,000-1,500 words. Viewpoint articles should focus on a particular subject and should not contain great technical detail. Papers that rely on technical arguments to support the authors’ positions or opinions should be submitted as main papers. • Tutorial: The aim of the tutorial section is to provide resources that effectively illustrate the application of current statistical practices and state-of-the art statistical methodology in drug development. Tutorials should include practical examples and reproducible code, thereby enabling readers to better understand and implement the presented statistical techniques in the drug development process. There is no formal limit on the word count. Ideas and proposal for tutorials can be submitted to the Tutorial section editor. • Case Studies. • Book Review. The aims of the Journal are to: 1. Disseminate information and practical examples of the full range of statistical methods and statistical thinking in all stages of drug development, from discovery to production; 2. Debate the current practice and application of statistics within the pharmaceutical industry and how this can best be de
