La revista Persona y Sociedad, de periodicidad semestral, tuvo su primer número en 1987, y desde el año 2010 es una publicación de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Persona y Sociedad busca ofrecer un espacio de reflexión e investigación académica en el área de las distintas disciplinas de las ciencias sociales, especialmente sociología, antropología, trabajo social, geografía, ciencia política, relaciones internacionales, comunicación. De este modo, se busca aportar a una interpretación y análisis científicos de la realidad nacional, latinoamericana y mundial, entorno a las relaciones entre sociedad, individuo, cultura, ética y territorio. La revista se dirige a un público especialmente académico, tanto profesores como estudiantes, interesados en las ciencias sociales y las humanidades.
