Pensar en Movimiento es una revista arbitrada, recibe manuscritos sobre temáticas de todas las ciencias del movimiento humano: educación física, psicología deportiva, biomecánica del deporte, nutrición deportiva, fisiología del ejercicio, actividad física y salud, desarrollo motor, aprendizaje motor, control motor y medicina deportiva. Enfatiza la publicación de estudios experimentales pero también acepta estudios descriptivos, metaanálisis, revisiones bibliográficas, entre otros. Se reciben contribuciones de autores nacionales e internacionales. Cada artículo sometido a publicación deberá ajustarse a las políticas de cada sección: los artículos de opinión solamente son aptos para Actualidades en Movimiento; los artículos de carácter metodológico, para Nota Técnica, entre otros; para mayor detalle, consultar en "Acerca De: Política de secciones". Nuestra revista se encuentra indexada en índices nacionales e internacionales, por lo tanto, nuestros lectores podrán consultar contenido actualizado desde cualquier parte del mundo, así mismo, autores desde cualquier país pueden realizar sus postulaciones. Nuestros autores provienen de diversos países de América Latina, España, Estados Unidos, Turquía, entre otros. Nuestros lectores pueden consultar información científica en el idioma español, inglés y portugués. El Comité Editorial de Pensar en Movimiento: Revista de Ciencias del Ejercicio y la Salud® aceptará trabajos en el entendido de que éstos no hayan sido publicados anteriormente en alguna otra revista. Los trabajos que se envíen deberán seguir el formato sugerido en las normas para los autores. Incluida en el sistema de archivo LOCKSS de la Universidad de Costa Rica y las instituciones asociadas.
