Foco e Escopo A Pauta Geral - Estudos em Jornalismo, é uma publicação do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Jornalismo da UEPG, com área de concentração em Processos Jornalísticos, a partir da qual se busca contemplar tanto aspectos voltados à epistemologia do Jornalismo, com bases teóricas e conceituais situadas nas dinâmicas, rotinas produtivas e aspectos da produção midiática, quanto às relações do Jornalismo com os demais campos do conhecimento, valorizando as interfaces da comunicação com as representações sociais. As duas linhas de pesquisa convergem no estudo das dinâmicas internas e externas do Jornalismo, oferecendo olhares distintos, e complementares, na observação dos fenômenos (comunicacionais) jornalísticos. Ao PPG estão vinculados 6 grupos de pesquisa certificados no Diretório de Grupos de Pesquisa do CNPq, sendo os seguintes:Lógicas de Produção e Consumo no JornalismoGrupos de Estudos e Pesquisas em Mídias digitaisJornalismo Cultural e Folkcomunicação (Centro Folkcom de Pesquisas)O Conhecimento no JornalismoJornalismo e Política: representações e atores sociaisGrupo de Pesquisa Jornalismo e Gênero Qualis: Na avaliação de periódicos realizada pela Capes – Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, referente ao quadriênio 2021-2024, a Pauta Geral foi classificada no estrato A3 em sete áreas do conhecimento: Comunicação e Informação e Museologia; Artes; Educação; Interdisciplinar; Linguística e Literatura; Serviço Social; Sociologia. Missão: Oferecer à sociedade um espaço relevante para a divulgação do resultado de pesquisas desenvolvidas na área de Jornalismo, possibilitando a consulta e troca de experiências que possam contribuir para outras pesquisas e para o desenvolvimento da atividade profissional.Normas editoriais para publicação na Pauta Geral: A revista recebe em regime de fluxo contínuo artigos científicos e resenhas críticas de autores(as) vinculados à instituições de ensino superior, com titulação mínima de mestres. Os textos devem tratar de temas/abordagens teórico-metodológicas relacionados ao campo do Jornalismo, retratando resultados (parciais ou finais) de pesquisas empíricas ou reflexões conceituais sobre questões que envolvem o Jornalismo ou a interface com outros campos e objetos. A Revista Pauta Geral também aceita, para a condição de autor, resenhas de pesquisadores(as) ou pós-graduandos(as) que estejam cursando, no mínimo, o mestrado. As resenhas devem abordar obras publicadas nos últimos três anos anteriores
