A Revista P2P & INOVAÇÃO - Informação e Plataformas Digitais (P2P & I2PD) é uma revista acadêmica internacional de acesso aberto, focada na relação entre tecnologia digital, inovação, economia e sociedade. A visão editorial da P2P & I2PD se inspira em práticas inovadoras, e pesquisas e publicações internacionais de ponta para delinear um campo de estudo emergente nas ciências sociais, que deve crescer reflexivamente à medida que tecnologias e sociedade evoluem. A P2P & I2PD publica pesquisas originais de alta qualidade em todas as áreas das ciências sociais que interagem com questões digitais. As ciências sociais são assim definidas de forma ampla para incluir, entre outras, informação, comunicação, sociologia, educação, direito, economia e história. Aceitamos contribuições de campos de pesquisa vizinhos, se forem relevantes para uma audiência de ciências sociais. Incentivamos submissões interdisciplinares que se concentrem em questões teóricas ou metodológicas. A revista está aberta a diversidade de paradigmas teóricos e metodológicos, valorizando especialmente abordagens inovadoras. Como as questões digitais transcendem fronteiras, a P2P & I2PD prioriza submissões que sejam de interesse e relevância internacional. Entre os temas específicos de interesse estão: políticas de ciência e tecnologia; ciência aberta; políticas e práticas de inovação; propriedade intelectual; tecnologias digitais e inteligência artificial; plataformas digitais; regulação e fiscalização dos usos das tecnologias digitais; estudos organizacionais inovadores e gestão da informação; economia política da informação e da comunicação; economia solidária; informação, meio ambiente e desenvolvimento sustentável. Fomentamos o acesso aberto e o compartilhamento de pesquisas sobre as propriedades sociais da informação e da inovação à medida que estas se manifestam através dos usos das tecnologias digitais, passadas e presentes. A P2P & I2PD é associada ao Grupo de Pesquisa Economias Colaborativas e Produção P2P do Brasil (vinculado ao Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia – IBICT) e ao NetLab.UFRJ (Laboratório de Estudos de Internet e Redes Sociais da Escola de Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro). O Grupo de Pesquisa Economias Colaborativas e Produção P2P do Brasil e o Netlab.UFRJ reúnem pesquisadores de todas as áreas das ciências sociais com interesse em discutir as tecnologias digitais, inovações e mudanças sociais.
