Публикует оригинальные статьи о проведённых клинических, клинико-экспериментальных и фундаментальных научных работах, обзоры, лекции, описания клинических случаев, а также вспомогательные материалы по всем актуальным вопросам нарущений минерального обмена, остеопороза и других заболеваний костной ткани. Особое внимание уделяется наиболее актуальным вопросам расстройствам минерального обмена и зоболеваний костей: их этиологии и патогенезу, клиническим проявлениям и фармакотерапии. Журнал: знакомит читателей с оригинальными отечественными и зарубежными исследованиями, отражающими развитие мировой эндокринологии и ревматологии; выпускает тематические номера, посвященные узким направлениям диагностики и лечения заболеваний костей; публикует хронику важнейших международных конгрессов и симпозиумов, а также новейшие международные и национальные клинические рекомендации и консенсусы; рассчитан на научных работников, эндокринологов, ревматологов, травматологов, геронтологов, а также специалистов всех смежных направлений внутренней медицины, в том числе врачей-терапевтов, врачей общей практики, семейных врачей.
