In addition to original research articles NAR also accepts short communications from ongoing research projects and responses to current issues and debate, comments on recent research through review articles, visual essays plaiting text and visual material and book reviews. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single anonymized.
