Norteamérica es una revista semestral cuyo objetivo es publicar artículos académicos multi e interdisciplinarios sobre la región de América del Norte (México, Estados Unidos y Canadá), que: consideren a la región como objeto de análisis en sí mismo (su evolución, sus procesos particulares y su dinámica interna); analicen la realidad de cada una de las tres naciones, vinculándolas temáticamente con el resto de la región; realicen estudios comparativos sobre las naciones que conforman América del Norte; aborden la región y su inserción en el contexto internacional; y profundicen en los procesos mundiales y su impacto en la región. Norteamérica publicará exclusivamente estudios académicos multi e interdisciplinarios sobre la región de América del Norte (México, Estados Unidos y Canadá), que: consideren a la región como objeto de análisis en sí mismo: su evolución, sus procesos particulares y su dinámica interna; analicen la realidad de cada una de las tres naciones, vinculándolas temáticamente con el resto de la región; realicen estudios comparativos sobre las naciones que conforman América del Norte; aborden la región y su inserción en el contexto internacional; y profundicen en los procesos mundiales y su impacto en la región. A través de estas perspectivas de estudio, la revista difundirá artículos que aborden una gran variedad de temas generales y específicos: política, economía, sociedad y cultura; política exterior, comercio, sistemas políticos, seguridad, política comparada, filosofía política e historia; y migración, procesos electorales, frontera, ciencia y tecnología, minorías, medio ambiente y recursos naturales, educación, derechos humanos, género y otros más. Norteamérica se compone de las siguientes secciones: Ensayos El objetivo de esta sección será desarrollar uno o más temas de forma exhaustiva, que comprendan y comparen perspectivas nacionales, regionales e internacionales. Extensión: 15 a 25 páginas. Análisis de Actualidad La sección "Análisis de Actualidad" se distinguirá por la integración de diversos estudios críticos y formales, escritos de manera rigurosa y original, que abunden sobre temas contemporáneos relevantes.
