Задачи: 1) аккумуляция знаний о русской культуре через исследования языка, литературы и отечественной истории как основных маркеров идентичности в окружении других идентичностей; 2) обмен интерпретациями инокультурного текста: русская литература и история в интерпретации зарубежных коллег — и зарубежный литературный и исторический дискурс в трактовках русских исследователей; 3) представление наблюдений исследователей из разных стран за развитием медиа как фактором глобализации; 4) приглашение исследователей разных стран к презентации и обсуждению теорий, подходов, методик, приемов анализа языка, текста, дискурса, поскольку ввиду длительного периода замкнутого развития национальных научных традиций и школ накопились разночтения в выборе проблематики исследований, трактовках ключевых терминов, методических предпочтениях. К рассмотрению принимаются статьи по научным специальностям таких областей науки, как «ИСТОРИЧЕСКИЕ НАУКИ» и «ФИЛОЛОГИЯ» (по номенклатуре ВАК РФ): 5.6.1. Отечественная история (исторические науки) 5.6.2. Всеобщая история (исторические науки) 5.6.7. История международных отношений и внешней политики (исторические науки) 5.9.1.
