「脈管学」は，一般社団法人 日本脈管学会が発行する和文のオープンアクセスジャーナルで，毎月10日と総会予稿集を掲載するsupplement 号の年13回オンラインで発行している。オンラインの記事は，掲載と同時に誰もが閲覧可能。 本誌は，脈管学の分野に貢献しうる和文の学術論文（原著，総説および症例報告）で，他誌に発表されていないものを掲載する。動脈疾患，静脈疾患，リンパ管疾患における基礎，病態および臨床研究等に関する論文を幅広く募集している。原著は，独創性・新規性に富み，著者による価値ある主張が表明されているもの。総説は，著者の実績に基づき，関連分野の背景・最近の動向・将来の課題などを総論的にまとめたもの。症例報告は，科学的な示唆に富み，啓蒙的な知見を読者に提供する症例。 本誌で掲載する論文の種類は，原著，総説，症例報告，学会特別企画論文の4種類。そのほか，総会予稿集，血管病理研究会記録についても掲載する。このうち，原著，総説，症例報告の投稿を募集している。 本誌では，原著，総説，症例報告，学会特別企画論文についてシングル・ブラインド方式の査読を行っている。 「脈管学」が想定する読者は，脈管学会の会員や，関連する分野の国内の研究者等。「脈管学」は，優れた研究を掲載することにより，脈管領域の基礎，病態の理解を深め，脈管学の発展に貢献するよう努めている。
