Focus and scope Mayéutica Revista Científica de Humanidades y Artes, published every six months, is a space to disseminate original scientific production in the area of social and / or human sciences and the arts. It has an inter, trans and multidisciplinary character and addresses issues related to Human Development, Psychology, History, Anthropology, Linguistics and other related subjects of the humanities and social sciences. The magazine publishes works by researchers from the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado as well as from external institutions. Open Access Policy Mayéutica Revista Científica de Humanidades y Artes is distributed free of charge, without charge for the authors and has no restrictions of any kind for the access of its publications in any of its sections. It is not necessary that those who have an interest in any of the contents of the journal must use access codes. All content is freely available at no cost to the user. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior permission from the editor or author.All content is Open Access, under the Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0 Internacional License.The journal is supported by institutional resources from the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado, which makes the process of sending, evaluating and editing manuscripts free for authors. The authors of the manuscripts that are sent to the sections of Research, Essays, Reviews, Cultural Scientific Information, Gallery, can save their contributions in institutional repositories or personal web pages, once their work has been published.Only credit is required from the journal, including bibliographic data: names, surnames, email and institutional affiliation of the author / authors, title of the material, year, volume and edition number in which the corresponding material was published, including the electronic link of the article in Mayéutica Revista Científica de Humanidades y Artes.
