The journal "Mother and Baby in Kuzbass" was created in 1999 on the basis of the Kemerovo Regional Perinatal Center, one of the first in the country.The journal was a participant and one of the organizers of the Year of Motherhood and Childhood in Russia in 2000. The journal became the first and only scientific and medical periodical in the country that represents not a separate academic or scientific-educational organization, but the entire Kuzbass region as a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.The journal has combined the efforts of state and public medical organizations involved in regional and federal programs to modernize the maternal and child health system and introduce innovative technologies.The journal attracts scientists from different countries and regions of Russia to work together.
