The Marshall Journal of Medicine is a peer-reviewed scientific journal focused on innovation, enhanced quality, and developing new knowledge in clinical care and medical education for the benefit of all patients. The journal is owned by Marshall University and operated by Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. In an effort to aid early career physicians and those providing education for our future medical providers, the journal is open access and charges no subscriptions. The journal publishes four issues at the end of January, April, July, and October. Special Issues may be published instead of regular issues or as a separate issue outside of the usual publishing cycle. The journal welcomes participation from any physician and scientist in the medical community and encourages the participation of residents, fellows, medical students, and graduate students.
