تنشر المجلة الدولية للعلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية البحوث العلمية الأصيلة التي تتوافر فيها شروط البحث في التحديد والإحاطة والاستقصاء والتوثيق في العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية للباحثين العرب في داخل وخارج حدود وطننا العربي أو المقيمين في المهجر على أن تكون هذه البحوث مكتوبة باللغة العربية أو الانجليزية حصراً، ويشترط في البحث ألا يكون قد نُشِرَ أو قدَّم للنشر في أيّ مكانٍ آخر. المجلة الدولية للعلوم الإنسانية مجلة علمية محكمة تصدر عن كلية العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية في بيروت - لبنان، وذات رقم التسجيل القياسي (ISSN online: 2415-4822) للنسخة الالكترونية وكذلك الرقم ( 5414-2708:ISSN print) وهي مجلة منتظمة الإصدار، دورية، محكّمة ، ولها هيئة تحرير علمية أكاديمية مختصة وهيئة استشارية دولية فاعلة تستند الى ميثاق اخلاقي لقواعد النشر وايضاً للعلاقة بينها وبين الباحثين. كما تستند إلى لائحة داخلية تنظّم عمل التحكيم، وإلى لائحة معتمدة بالمحكّمين في الاختصاصات كافة حيث تعتمد في نشرها للبحوث على التحرير والمراجعة من قبل كادر متخصص حيث تتبع نظام مراجعة مهني واحترافي (Peer Review) كأساس في عملية تقييم وتحكيم البحوث قبل نشرها، كما أنها تصدر بصورة دورية وان جميع البحوث الصادرة تنشر بشكل مفتوح (Open-Access)على موقع المجلة ويمكن الوصول إلى كل البحوث في كل عدد أو إصدار بشكل مباشر عبر رابط البحث. كذلك تستخدم المجلة نظام CLOCKSS كخطة أرشفة للنسخ الاحتياطي الإلكتروني والحفاظ على الوصول إلى محتوى المجلة. تقوم المجلة بنشر البحوث الأصيلة المبتكرة ذات الصلة بأي حقل من حقول العلوم الإنسانية، منها اللغويات النظرية والتطبيقية، الآداب والآداب المقارنة، الدراسات الفلسفية، الدراسات التاريخية، الإعلام، الدراسات الآثارية والمداخلات التي تتناول بالنقد والبحث إشكاليات تتعلق بفروع العلوم الإنسانية وأسئلتها المركزية، وكذلك تلك التي تعكس جدلاً وسجالاً حول ما ينشر في المجلة من إسهامات متنوعة. تتضمن المجلة أبواباً مختلفة وثابتة منها: المناقشات، عروض ومراجعات الكتب، تقارير علمية عن المؤتمرات والندوات، بالإضافة إلى باب الندوات وتقوم المجلة فيه بعقد ندوات مغلقة تغطي أهم الموضوعات المطروحة على الساحة الإقليمية والعربية.
