Linguistica Brunensia je volně dostupný odborný recenzovaný časopis, který od roku 2009 vydává Masarykova univerzita v Brně. Časopis se zaměřuje na oblast obecné jazykovědy a uvádí články na stěžejní témata spojená se strukturou a užíváním přirozeného jazyka. Orientuje se na výzkum založený na formálních přístupech k analýze přirozeného jazyka a deskriptivní popisy lingvistických jevů. Publikovány jsou jak synchronní, tak diachronní studie ze všech jazykovědných subdisciplín. Vzhledem k tradici časopisu jsou preferovány studie 1. založené na výzkumu konkrétních jazyků, zejména slovanských (s důrazem na češtinu), 2. studie zkoumající konkrétní jazyky v širším typologickém a historicko-srovnávacím pojetí. Časopis se zaměřuje zejména na následující oblasti: Formální lingvistika Deskriptivní lingvistika Korpusová lingvistika Diachronní lingvistika
