Lilloa es una publicación periódica de la Fundación Miguel Lillo (Tucumán, Argentina), fundada en el año 1937. Publica articulos científicos originales y de revisión (no enviado simultáneamente a otra revista) y evaluados sobre Botánica, micología y ficología; incluidos temas ecológicos, anatómicos, fisiológicos, citológicos, genéticos, palinológicos, Botánica aplicada (de especies nativas de Argentina), paleoBotánica y biogeográficos. Se consideran para su publicación ampliaciones de áreas geográficas, solamente aquellas fundamentadas con criterios ecológicos, biogeográficos y/o histórico. Es un espacio abierto a contribuciones que aporten al conocimiento de las investigaciones científicas nacionales e internacionales. Está dirigida a investigadores, profesionales y estudiantes de ciencias biológicas y disciplinas afines. Se edita un volumen anual en dos fascículos semestrales, con una versión en linea en junio y diciembre. Las contribuciones pueden adoptar carácter de artículos, revisiones, comunicación o nota, en castellano, inglés y portugués. Los trabajos de investigación y estudios originales comprenderán el 85 % del contenido de la revista. El porcentaje restante podrán comprender artículos de revisión, notas u obituarios. Los manuscritos son evaluados por árbitros externos siguiendo el proceso "doble ciego". Lilloa proporciona acceso abierto a todo su contenido sin costos de publicación para los autores.
