LATITUDE (ISSN: 2179-5428) is a publication in continuous flow of Social Sciences, published by the Graduate Program in Sociology of the Federal University of Alagoas (Universidade Federal de Alagoas - UFAL), being annually organized in two editions. Our magazine accepts the submission of original articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, covering a wide range of theoretical, methodological and thematic approaches in the Social Sciences. We welcome articles written by PhDs and reviews by graduate students (master's and doctoral students) that are pertinent to the field, as well as interviews with researchers in the area that have national and/or international prominence, as well as translations of articles by foreign researchers. For the submission of articles, it´s necessary that the main author holds the title of doctor. We attach great importance to the quality of publications, which go through a blind peer review process carried out by experts and are approved by the scientific committee. The magazine is indexed in the databases Latindex, Google Scholar, Sumários, Miguilim and EZB - Eletronic Journauls Library. And it has support of the Foundation for Research Support of Alagoas (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa de Alagoas - Fapeal).
