KMUJ covers a broad spectrum of health and medical disciplines, including basic and clinical medical sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutics and toxicology, medical and dental specialties and subspecialties, rehabilitation medicine, allied health sciences, mental health, clinical psychology, public health, and medical education research. KMUJ serves a diverse readership comprising healthcare professionals, clinicians, academicians, researchers, postdoctoral and postgraduate scholars, medical and dental graduates, allied health professionals, pharmacists, public health practitioners, medical educators, policymakers, and students of the health sciences. To foster a culture of research among undergraduate students, the journal maintains a dedicated Student Section for the publication of scientifically sound and ethically conducted student research. KMUJ publishes original research articles, narrative, systematic and scoping reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, clinical images, short and special communications, brief reports, viewpoints, perspectives, commentaries, research protocols, methodological papers, clinical practice guidelines, consensus statements, policy analyses, editorials, and letters to the editor across the biomedical and health sciences. All research manuscripts undergo peer review in accordance with the journal’s established review policy of KMUJ. KMUJ is a strong advocate of ethical medical journalism and promotes the integrity of science by practicing the highest standard of research and publication ethics. Any misconduct noticed during or after publication in KMUJ will be dealt with according to COP
