The Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe is an international academic journal providing a platform for critical and interdisciplinary dialogue on questions of minority rights, political and socio-economic participation, good governance, diversity management, racial and ethnic inequalities, democratization, and interethnic conflict. Our journal is particularly interested in stimulating debates between varied theoretical but also empirical approaches; we also encourage policy debates on topical issues that combine conceptual and practice-oriented analyses. The Journal's geographical focus is Europe, broadly understood; however, contributions on minority issues outside Europe and using a comparative perspective with European case studies and frameworks are also welcome. Within this broad framework, the journal accepts submissions in the following non-exhaustive areas: Theoretical and methodological approaches to studying minority issues; Comparative and in-depth studies of minority groups and regions, in particular using intersectional approaches; Governance, political participation, social movements, and civic activism in ethnically diverse societies; Political and socio-economic inequalities affecting minority and racialised groups; Cultural and linguistic perspectives on minority identity and mobilization; Critical evaluations of policies and developments within European institutions and their interactions with neighbouring regions; Impact of climate change and environmental harm on minority groups; Conflict prevention and resolution, especially in minority populated regions. The Journal considers only previously unpublished
