Journal of the Selva Andina Research Society es una revista Internacional, indexada, con revisión por pares, de edición semestral, fundada el 25 de septiembre del año 2008 gracias a la visión y esfuerzo dedicado del Departamento de Enseñanza e Investigación en Bioquímica & Microbiología (D.E.I. & B.M.) y la Junta Directiva del Consejo Superior de Investigación en Ciencia & Biotecnología de la Sociedad Científica Selva Andina Research Society, dependiente de la Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”, la misma tiene como fin promover y difundir investigaciones inéditas que generen impacto en el zona de influencia de la universidad, el país en su conjunto y en la región en las especialidades de: Entomología, Microbiología básica, Parasitología, Bioquímica, Nutrición, Microbiología Ambiental, Biotecnología, Fitoquímica, Salud Pública. La revista acepta, en particular las Investigaciones básicas y aplicadas en Bioquímica, Inmunología, Biología Celular y Molecular, Fisiología, Microbiología Ambiental, Farmacología y Terapéutica, Genética, Ciencias del Suelo y áreas relacionadas con estas.
