Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere (J. Selva Andina Biosph.) es una revista Internacional de edición semestral, fundada el 25 de septiembre del año 2011 gracias a la visión y esfuerzo dedicado del Departamento de Enseñanza e Investigación en Bioquímica & Microbiología (D.E.I. & B.M.) y la Junta Directiva del Consejo Superior de Investigación en Ciencia & Biotecnología de la Fundación Selva Andina Research Society, con el fin de promover y difundir investigaciones inéditas en áreas de Agronomía, incluyendo ciencia del suelo: génesis, morfología, física, clasificación, manejo y conservación, fertilidad, fertilización y materia orgánica; fitotecnia, fisiología de plantas cultivadas, plantas medicinales, fitopatología, fitosanidad, manejo integrado de plagas de las plantas, mejoramiento vegetal, microbiología agrícola y producción y beneficiación de semillas. La revista acepta, en particular las Investigaciones Básicas y Aplicadas en cultivos, frutales, hortalizas, entomología, fitopatología, malherbología, control biológico, biotecnología, recursos genéticos, praderas, agroforestería, fertilidad de suelos, riego, drenaje, conservación de suelos, maquinaria, economía agrícola y sistemas de producción. Publica artículos científicos inéditos, elaborados por Investigadores, Profesionales independientes, Estudiantes de Postgrado y Pregrado, Instituciones Públicas y Privadas, Organizaciones no Gubernamentales e Investigadores y Profesionales de todo el mundo. Con base en la normativa de la revista Journal of the Selva Andina Biosphere, los autores de los artículos científicos, tienen cuatro derechos sobre sus manuscritos: presentarlo en público, preparar trabajos derivados, reproducirlos y distribuirlos. Los interesados pueden reproducir la información de los trabajos científicos (pero con la cita correspondiente, de otro modo se comete plagio) cuando se hace con propósitos específicos en la enseñanza y la investigación.
