La Journal of the Academy, es una revista electrónica científica arbitrada perteneciente a la Asociación de Universidades del Perú (ASUP) creada en el año 2019, que tiene como misión ser una plataforma de acceso abierto para que docentes, estudiantes e investigadores nacionales e internacionales puedan publicar sus trabajos académicos tras una rigurosa revisión, con la finalidad de que las investigaciones aporten al desarrollo nacional y/o internacional. Es una publicación semestral que se publica en enero y julio, orientada a la publicación de investigaciones originales, revisiones sistemáticas, estudios bibliométricos, ensayos académicos y análisis empíricos en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales Aplicadas, con especial interés en problemáticas, dinámicas y transformaciones del contexto latinoamericano. La revista recibe contribuciones que analicen fenómenos sociales, educativos, organizacionales, económicos, comunicacionales, jurídicos, tecnológicos y de gestión, siempre que estos sean abordados desde una perspectiva aplicada y contribuyan a la comprensión, explicación o solución de problemas relevantes para instituciones, comunidades, empresas, gobiernos y sistemas educativos de América Latina. La revista prioriza trabajos que aporten evidencia científica, reflexión crítica o propuestas metodológicas aplicables a los desafíos sociales, educativos, productivos e institucionales de la región. Asimismo, valora investigaciones de carácter interdisciplinario, siempre que su eje central se relacione con las Ciencias Sociales Aplicadas y que los resultados permitan fortalecer la toma de decisiones, la formulación de políticas, la gestión organizacional, la innovación social o el mejoramiento de prácticas educativas, empresariales y comunitarias.
