Journal of Global Ethics welcomes contributions on all aspects of the theory and practice of global ethics. We welcome submissions on theoretical, conceptual and empirical analysis of global ethics and ethics of global relations as well as articles on comparative and normative ethics. This scope includes but is not limited to contributions relating to international cooperation and conflicts, international development ethics, global justice, non-Western moral philosophy, and the impacts of globalisation and deglobalisation. Elaborating this somewhat: the journal provides a forum for inquiry into ethics and values in their relationship to globalisation, human development, international relations, peace and war, social movements, environmental justice, economics and politics insofar as these subjects pertain to global justice. Submissions are encouraged from any relevant discipline, such as philosophy, law, theology, politics and international relations, and from practitioners and activists working in the field. In addition, in accordance with the journal’s aim to bridge the academic-practitioner divide, the editors encourage the submission of articles on experiences related to social movement and NGO activities. We encourage both disciplinary contributions and interdisciplinary contributions, including ones that draw on empirical social and policy sciences or humanities. All submissions should however fulfil the following criteria: (Ethics:) A clear normative relevance. (Global:) A ‘global’ or transnational/cross-national orientation and/or explicit relevance, rather than an exclusively national orientation. Journal of Global Ethics publishes the following (overlapping) types of articles: Peer reviewed research (empirical and/or theoretical) Dialogues, discussions and analyses of ethics in the global context, including of contemporary social concerns and experiments Articles crossing the academic versus practitioner divide and representing a range of voices, including from civil society, social movements, non-governmental organizations, and policymakers Articles crossing the academic-practitioner divide and representing a range of voices, including those of civil society and non-governmental organizations and policy-makers Reviews, interviews and special features on topical issues Discussion with NGOs, anti-globalisation movements, activists and academics on topical political, legal and ethical issues Special Issues on contemporary themes in global ethics, s
