Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics (JACMP) publishes clinically relevant research, technical developments, and educational guidelines that advance medical physics practice in radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, health physics, and related disciplines. The journal also features work on clinical protocol implementation, methodologies, consensus statements, practical case studies, policy and regulation. In contrast, the journal Medical Physics places greater emphasis on fundamental and methodological research, while JACMP focuses on clinical translation, validation, and implementation of emerging technologies and technical developments. Founded to serve medical physicists and profession, JACMP also provides a platform for articles on professional topics, management and workforce, education, and global engagement. Figure 1 summarizes the complementary scopes of the two journals. Topics suitable for JACMP include, but are not limited to: Radiation Oncology Physics: Photon/electron therapy, particle therapy (proton, carbon ion), brachytherapy, motion management, image-guided and adaptive radiotherapy, treatment planning, development, commissioning, and clinical implementation of new therapy technologies. Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging Physics: X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine imaging; image reconstruction and optimization; multi-energy imaging, image guidance for interventions; AI-based image analysis, radiomics, segmentation, and imaging quality assurance. Nuclear Medicine and Radiopharmaceuticals: Imaging and therapy using radiopharmaceuticals, PET/SPECT technologies, quantitative nuclear medicine imaging, dosimetry for radiopharmaceutical therapy, and clinical translation of new tracers. Radiation Protection and Safety: Patient, staff, and public radiation protection; shielding design; dose monitoring; safety culture; incident learning; and regulatory compliance in clinical environments. Radiation Detectors and Measurements: Dosimetry systems, detector development and characterization, small-field dosimetry, calibration techniques, measurement methodologies, and Monte Carlo simulations. Education, Professional Practice, and Policy: Medical physics education and mentorship, curriculum development, training methods, workforce and workflow management, quality management, professional practice issues, regulatory policy and accreditation, and physics support and analysis for clinical t
