Aims, scope and focus
نشریه «جغرافیا و توسعه» یک فصلنامه علمی _پژوهشی دسترسی آزاد به زبان فارسی (به همراه چکیده و منابع به انگلیسی) است که به حوزههای جغرافیا و شناخت فلات ایران و توسعه آن اختصاص دارد. این نشریه توسط دانشگاه سیستان و بلوچستان و با حمایت علمی انجمن جغرافیای ایران منتشر میشود. تصمیم اولیه هیئت تحریریه بر این بود که نشریه بر جغرافیا و شناخت فلات ایران متمرکز باشد و این امر از آن زمان تاکنون حفظ شده است. این مجله یک نشریه بین رشتهای است که با در نظر گرفتن اخلاق پژوهش و قوانین و مقررات دانشگاهی به چاپ مقالات پژوهشی اصیل، و مقالات مروری اختصاص دارد. این نشریه علاوه بر مقالات پژوهشی، تفسیرهای کوتاهتر، بررسیهای موضوعی، بحثهای نظری و نقد کتاب را نیز منتشر میکند. ما مشارکتهای متخصصانی را که در رشتههای مختلف کار میکنند در محدوده موضوعی نشریه تشویق میکنیم، و مقالات تطبیقی و مقایسهای جغرافیای ایران و کشورهای دیگر را با بررسی، ارزیابی و مورد توجه قرار میدهیم
