Aims, scope and focus
Focus and Scope JETEN exclusively publishes papers presented in Thematic Interest Groups (TIGs) during the ETEN annual conference. Thematic Interest Groups leaders review the papers and select ones suitable for the journal and submit them to the editorial board for blind peer review by three referees per article. The Thematic Interest Groups are: Arts EducationCreative Storytelling–Myths, Fairytales and other NarrativesEducation TechnologyIdentity & DiversityLanguage EducationInternationalisationMathematics EducationMovement Activities, Play, Health and Outdoor LearningReflective Learning and Teaching for ThinkingSpecial Education NeedsStudent-Teacher TransitionTeaching and Learning Science & TechnologyUrban Education Policy statement JETEN is a refereed international journal on teacher education. This yearly publication follows each European Teacher Education Network (ETEN) annual conference. JETEN publishes papers selected from the ETEN Annual Conferenceby the leaders of the Thematic Interest Groups and peer-reviewed by three international reviewers. The papers may represent various theoretical and methodological approaches from different cultures, which focus on the pedagogical, social and political contexts of teacher education. Publication Frequency JETEN is a yearly publication following each ETEN annual conference. Journal items will be published collectively, as part of an issue with its own Table of Contents. Open Access Policy This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
