La revista “Investigación en la Escuela” se dirige prioritariamente al sector del profesorado y de los investigadores interesados en el estudio y mejora de los procesos de enseñanza de las materias escolares de cualquier nivel educativo y en la formación del profesorado, desde una perspectiva abierta a la innovación, fundamentada y crítica. Se abordan temas relativos a la fundamentación teórica y los referentes prácticos que puedan ser útiles para el desarrollo profesional del profesorado, para la formación inicial de los mismos y para la investigación didáctica. Con este fin, se incluirán artículos relacionados con la enseñanza de las materias escolares y con la formación del profesorado, a través de resultados de investigación didáctica o de revisión bibliográfica. Excepcionalmente podrán ser admitidos artículos que no respondan exactamente a este perfil si el equipo editorial de la revista así lo considera por su interés, relevancia y novedad en el campo.
