The International Journal of Pioneering Technology and Engineering (IJPTE) (E-ISSN: 2822-454X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on sustainable, intelligent, and computational engineering systems. IJPTE publishes original research articles, critical review articles, and technical notes that advance the modelling, design, analysis, optimization, control, and experimental validation of engineering systems. The journal’s research identity lies primarily at the intersection of mechanical engineering, energy systems, manufacturing, materials engineering, and computational engineering. The journal welcomes theoretical, experimental, and computational studies in the following areas: Thermal-fluid engineering, heat transfer, and energy systems Renewable, hybrid, and low-carbon energy technologies Mechanical design and manufacturing systems Engineering materials, composites, and structural mechanics Computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, and multiphysics modelling Engineering optimization, control, automation, and digital twins Artificial intelligence and data-driven methods applied to physical engineering systems Reliability, condition monitoring, and fault diagnosis Sustainable industrial processes and environmental engineering technologies Engineering applications of mechatronics, robotics, and autonomous systems Interdisciplinary manuscripts are considered only when they address a clearly defined engineering problem and provide a substantial methodological, experimental, computational, or technological contribution. The journal does not consider clinical and public-health research, general computer science without a substantive engineering application, educational technology, pure mathematics without demonstrated engineering relevance, or biological and pharmaceutical studies without a primary engineering contribution. Descriptive bibliometric or scoping reviews that do not provide a critical engineering synthesis are also outside the journal’s scope. All manuscripts must demonstrate scientific originality, methodological rigor, and relevance beyond a routine or exclusively local application. Submissions are initially assessed for conformity with the journal’s aims and scope before being considered for peer review. IJPTE is published biannually, in June and December, and all manuscripts are published in English. Effective date: This revised Aims and Scope applies to manuscripts submitted on or after 1 September 202
