Scope

Aims, scope and focus

International Cancer Conference Journal is in Zone 4 of Medicine in the CAS Journal Ranking (2025 upgraded edition). By OpenAlex counts of its recent articles, its largest topics are Sarcoma Diagnosis and Treatment, Ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment and Cancer Immunotherapy and Biomarkers, together about 18.9% of its articles. Its main subfields are Pulmonary and Respiratory Medicine and Oncology. (generated from OpenAlex topic counts and CAS ranking data)

This peer-reviewed online-only journal publishes original case reports on all types of cancer, together with literature reviews on related or similar cases. In particular, we welcome not only case reports of educational value in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers, but also reports on cancer cases involving molecular analysis and concerning e.g. gene mutations, gene fusions, gene expression, and changes in copy number, regardless of their known clinical significance. Deciding how to conduct the molecular analysis of a tumor usually requires a “cancer conference” in which experts from various fields discuss it. Even if the authors and their respective “cancer conference” were unable to determine the clinical significance of molecular changes at the time of submission and publication, their data may provide evidence that will help the scientific community develop targeted medicine solutions in the future. International Cancer Conference Journal is the official quarterly publication of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (JSCO). - Presents an online-only collection of original case reports, together with literature reviews on all types of cancer - In particular, welcomes cancer cases involving molecular analysis - The Official Publication of the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology (JSCO)
