Aims, scope and focus

Its main subfields are Literature and Literary Theory. (generated from OpenAlex topic counts and CAS ranking data)
Founded in 1996, Interlitteraria is the annual peer-reviewed journal of the Chair of Comparative Literature of the University of Tartu and the Estonian Association of Comparative Literature. Interlitteraria publishes original articles in English, French, German, and Spanish, in the field of comparative literature. Preference is given to papers that focus on intercultural contexts of literary phenomena. Interlitteraria also publishes translations into the above-mentioned languages of articles that have earlier appeared in other (less widely known) languages. The maximum length of an article is 7,000 words. Interlitteraria publishes both special issues—such as collections based on selections of papers presented at EACL international conferences—and open-topic issues, which allow the journal to explore a wide range of themes. Each year, the journal releases one volume in two fascicles. As our special issues take precedence in the publication schedule, the release of open‑topic issues may require additional time. The annual deadline for manuscript submissions is 31 January. The journal has no article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. The journal does not accept advertisements. ***

Review & acceptance
Review time and acceptance
Review time from article dates manuscript dates registered with PubMed · to
Too few articlesOnly 1 articles from the last 24 months carry both submission and acceptance dates, too few for a median
Only articles that were accepted and published are counted, not the time spent on rejected manuscripts, so this usually runs longer than a publisher's "time to first decision".
